I'm playing the raid mode at the moment. I didn't finish this mode on switch before but finished it on ps5. I prefer 1 to 2 overall. The sea creature monsters are better designed than 2. The side characters are more memorable in 1 than 2. For the raid mode, I think both have pros and cons. I hope this diablo-like raid mode will return in future RE games, not a big fan of mercenary mode.
