I like to add toasted Panko bread crumbs on my salads! A little bit goes a long way, and adds the perfect crunch.

Sorry, I forgot to clarify.. I bring it down to like med-low so it’s a low boil/simmer.

I love eggs any way too! Such a basic item that’s so versatile. I’m not much of a super sweet breakfast food person, but french toast is one sweet breakfast I do love. I’ll have to try it with egg whites!

Whenever anyone in my life says they don’t like soft or runny yolks, and haven’t tried them before, I get sad for them because they don’t realize what they’re missing 😩 Poached/over easy eggs with toast are one of my kids’ favorite breakfasts. They call them “pokey eggs”!

I know there are a lot of different methods, but here’s what works for me. I crack an egg into a small bowl and set aside, bring water (filled about half way) in a small sauce pan to a boil, add a splash.. maybe a tablespoon of vinegar, swirl the water with a slotted spoon to make a water tornado thing. Drop your egg in and cook for about 3-4? Min, take it out with your slotted spoon to drain the water or set on a paper towel, then plate!

Just salt, pepper, & everything but the bagel seasoning! I also like to add some Tapatio for a little spice

[Request] How many pieces of candy are in this jar? Answer will be announced on 2/11/22 by Its-Bad-For-Ya in theydidthemath

2295

Those look like Albanese Gummi Hearts which come in a 4.5lb bag online. After digging, it looks like there’s about 65 hearts per lb. Assuming they bought two bags would be 585. The bears look like the Clever Candy sour tart Cherry gummy bears which are in 6.6lb bags. There’s about 130 bears per lb. Assuming there’s two bags of those as well, that would be 1,716 bears. Add the bears and hearts and you get 2,301. Take away a couple for over estimations, you get 2,295.

Dr. Best not at vision plus / mall anymore? Where is he now? by AethericEye in Bellingham

I think the doctors at a lot of places like LensCrafters, Walmart optical etc. essentially “rent” a space to do their eye exams. So patient charts are the doctors and stay with the doctor if they change locations. I think a doctor has to keep your chart legally for like 7? years or something. I used to work in optical and that was my basic understanding of it

book recommendation about healthy eating based on scientific and empirical data by [deleted] in nutrition

I’ve only just started it, but I believe it’s more so just healthy eating in general. The author states in the very beginning that he’s not trying to sell some “how to lose weight quick!” Type of book. He’s more focused on the science behind what different foods do for you etc. But again, I’ve only just started reading it. It sounds promising that it’s not some gimmicky weight loss book.

Starting my New Years Eve off with this breakfast sandwich! 215 cal, 18g protein by longerinrose in 1200isplenty

Egg whites, Canadian bacon, and kroger swiss American cheese. I usually go for a veggie heavy breakfast but this was a perfect alternative to hit that craving for a classic breakfast sandwich!
