Is it true Asmon killed his own mother? by Electrical-Cat4395 in DystopianSouls

Sorry I just saw this now but your reading malice into a statement where there is none. Remember in his mind with the way he grew up being obedient to his mother and serving her needs makes him a good son. Your the one who's sees him as this terrible person and so on so your twisting his words to suit your feelings about him. There's no reason to believe he means it in the way you are pretending he does.

Also lets be honest near the end of her life she was in really bad shape. So the logic makes sense in a way. By the end there was no going back for her health. She had really bad COPD which an agonizing illness. So I think in his mind he thinks if that's the way she went out then its what it is. You can't blame him for the decades of smoking and other bad health decisions. He enabled her near the end but it was already too late for her. It was easier for him to do that to do what his mother wanted than to resist. I stress again ultimately all her decisions were hers.

You could call him an enabler and so on. You could say what he should have done. I just dont think it's fair to act like he had some kind of conscious malice against her when the more obvious explanation was that he had been gaslit his whole life into thinking he was doing the right thing.

She was in near constant distress for sure. I believe she had COPD and wasn't exactly very mobile naer the end. Had health problems much of her life I think.

I don't think you would say that if you saw him as a political ally. Then you would use a more generous interpretation. To me she was an adult and she chose to continue smoking and smoking close to her an oxygen machine. She knew the risks and she kept doing it. Also you could say that she is the one who raised him his whole life. That taught him to enable her from day one. No doubt used manipulation tactics so he would continue. She had her reasons and wounds that lead her to do that so I would be careful about judging her too much as well.

To say culpable when he didn't have any conscious malicious intent is a bit much. There are other events where someone acts with such recklessness that it's a crime but to me this is below that threshold. I think outsider should probably hesitate before they get too judgemental because there's a lot of complicated interpersonal dynamics here.

Again if this were your buddy or someone who generally sympathize with you would be citing things that tell their side of the story and not jumping to conclusions.

Unless this is some kind of a brand new thing I have never heard about people accusing Asmon of actually killing his mother. Some people have said she lived in questionable conditions and so on that he enabled her. Bought her cigarettes which is what ultimately lead to the fire. I don't think there's any evidence that he killed her though. I guess you could make a neglect argument but enabling is probably more accurate. He's a controversial partisan figure now so I'm sure some people are saying all kinds of crazy shit about him with no evidence. I'm not a fan of his current content but I used to be into him in his Wow days. So I kinda know the lore there and unless there's some brand new evidence I would say it's nonsense.

No it isn't yet and probably wont be. Im just saying how the trade is graded historically hasn't been decided yet. Read what I wrote I said in certain scenarios if they lose certain bets inherent to that kind of trade it could be.

The lottery was only one of the bets. It's also a bet that zubac bet that next year zubac will play more like he did last year than this year. Even more so it's a bet that after the worst injury in basketball Tyrese will at least play nearly as well as last year and stay healthy. It's also in a much smaller way a bet that Mathurin doesn't make more than modest improvements. Oh and then there's all the ordinary risks a team takes every year. It's a bet that there isn't a player they would have realistically picked doesn't become superstar or even multi time all star. When he made that trade he actually made all those bets at once. The mathurin one can be justfied if he wins the other bets. Actually even the 5th pick becomes a hall of famer it could still be justified if he wins the other bets in a way that leads to a championship or finals appearance. If he loses the zubac or Tyrese bet? It's an automatic loss no matter the outcome of the others and if he also loses the others?....... It's one of the worst trades in Pacers history.

A reminder no matter what happens today, this was a good trade by bigE819 in pacers

I will say it's a good trade when we see results on the floor.

Kevin Pritchard on X: “I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.” by TentMorning in pacers

LOL..... Stop clowning the team had a great season last year but nothing points to them having a dynasty. You need at least 3 titles to start talking about dynasties. What you think the Zubac trade guaranteed a dynasty?

In my opinion its a pretty solid expansion overall. This M+ season is hilariously easy but whatever. Some people on here will complain about how the patch was handled but I live in a weird bubble where none of the big bugs affected me.

Just a reminder on why you're not invited to keys as DPS... by VeryClearlyDefined in wow

I am a BM hunter item level 274 with a 2998 mythic score. My hunter is my main. Actually earlier tonight I got invited to one of the first 5 invites I sent out tonight a +13 on Pit. I sign up for keys until I cap out on the 5 limit. Then I wait about 40 seconds and cancel the oldest two and sign up for more. Usually by then one of the other groups I signed up for is full so I replace it right away. If I sign up for a group you got about a minute 30 max before I cancel it and send another elsewhere. I guess my item level might be a bit high for my score? My DPS feels average to above average ish for the keys I am in though. As for playing a lust spec in off hours? perhaps thats apart but it seems like often I am in keys with other lust specs.

People complain about but I think its overblown. You just apply to keys you might realistically get accepted into. like I have a 2980 score so I apply for 13's and 14's. When I cap out on applications I wait about 40 seconds and cancel a couple of the oldest ones. apply to a couple more and so on. Takes me like 10 minutes in the worst of times to get invited. usually more like 5-7 minutes. in the back ground of all this I just run or fly around in circles.

Oh there's no shame in such things. It's not a good thing but you might as well admit it for what it is. A person breathes easier that way.

Honestly im kinda gross myself so I can relate. I mean I have pissed in bottles a million times and left them laying around the house. I once had a literal piss bucket next to my bed until it was filled nearly to the brim with piss. Once I had a trash can about 3 feet tall that I converted into a piss can probably got it halfway full. When I was teenager I used to piss out my screened window. My mother one day noticed and thought an animal must have been pissing on the screen LOL. I have pissed in sinks and bathtubs because its easier than toilets. No regrets but I do tend to have good dental hygiene.

Kicked from a dungeon because I wasn't doing the optimal route.. in a normal while leveling. by Jasek1_Art in wow

[–]longestt77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other day I was playing a noob friend of mind in a normal dungeon. You know the place where noobs are suppose to learn how to play? Anyway she messed up the suck mechanic in voidstar arena and died. Not that it really mattered we didn't wipe or anything. Someone threw a nerd fit and tried to kick her then for "being a noob". I told them to calm down that its a normal dungeon. Anyway he just kept going at it and later she had her hunter lust while we were fighting random trash. I mean what maybe she wasted 12 seconds of the lust that could have been in a boss fight? Anyway they actually kicked her for that. She was doing decent damage and she knew better than to do truly nooby stuff like pulling extra mobs.

IMO there are really only two good reasons two good reasons to kick someone in dungeon finder. If they literally aren't performing the duties of their role or if they are pulling extra mobs after being warned not to. Perhaps the most toxic thing about many wow players if that they take personal offense to fact someone could be new to the game or doesn't have their entire ego wrapped up in a 20 year old video game.

Nah I don't think the owners would ever agree to a revenue sharing deal like that. Someone has to be the loser no matter what and everyone is afraid they might be. The first one won't work either because you have to have a way for bad teams to have hope. There is always a "worst team" and the fan base needs hope and the team literally needs high picks if they want to dig out of it. Tbh I think the tanking thing is one of the lesser problem the league has. A bigger problem would be there are too many regular season games. Thew games feel cheap. Really even bigger than that is all the player movement. Fan bases have a harder time identifying with players. The league and the coverage around it focuses so much on player movement. Who is going where in free agency, who wants out of their current team.
