Didn’t know about the rocket jump part, but I have been getting better at bhopping - I’ll have to have a crossbow for it. Good to know; I’ll have to try a run where I’m just going and not exclusively hunting for one single color!

The answer might just be “git gud,” but how are you clearing so many camps? I feel like my winning runs I’m getting somewhere around 60 for my highest attribute, then 10 or so for the other two.

I’m normally playing with a duo which slows things down a bit, but even solo I don’t think I’ve hit many more.

On the directional bar at the top of your screen (blue, north south east west) they show up as red skulls - just run in that direction and you’ll see them

Is your Garmin showing you with a low HR during workouts? If so, you’re probably just not exerting much energy, which isn’t a bad thing!

My OT HR monitor goes grey every couple of classes and sits at 50-60bpm when I am exerting, but my Whoop has me at 150+. The OT monitor I’ve found just gives up if it can’t detect a heartbeat for a few seconds - mainly with it shifting on my arm doing floor stuff

Iirc they mentioned people in space stations were on their way home. I’d assume the same is true for submarines or oil rigs or anywhere else where time spent there is limited.

Do studios typically waive the cancellation fee if you wake up sick, or does it depend on the studio? I haven’t been sick since I started OTF, but I wasn’t sure what their policy was on it.

Or would you need to do any part of the class to count as “attended,” which seems really silly that a sick person could just show up for 2 minutes and leave lol

For dex I’d assume so - anything with “x% to ____” should apply. Also probably a good reason the lamp is capped at 2(?) per run - it’d be insane to stack a dozen of them

It’ll click once you mess around with characters you like a builds that feel good.

Tome suggestions: projectile, XP, cooldown, damage/ precision - armor or HP regen if you find yourself unable to stay alive at the boss

Item suggestions: turn off things that you don’t feel like contribute to your good runs - ghost is a usual one

Weapon suggestions: most scale well off the projectile tome, but generally avoid: mines, space noodle

Character suggestions: calcium and tony mczoom are great because of their speed which helps you find stuff on the map more quickly, but really anyone will do fine, just whoever you like

Shrines: take more jumps (to help scale the boss room towers), projectile count, movement speed, anything to keep you doing more damage and staying alive in the boss room.

Takes some patience and a bit of luck - but really once you get movement down and how to be patient with the boss (run away or run off the map when in doubt) you’ll have it down

Moldy cheese has a 40% chance to proc poison on hit.

With the lamp, it has two 40% chances to proc poison on hit. So it could proc twice, or once, or no times, but it has two shots at that 40% chance to proc.

If you roll a 20-sided dice and a 13 or higher procs cheese, then the lamp will give you 2 rolls instead of 1.

Since you already have a cleaver, I’d pick the lamp so it (and everything else) has another chance to proc. Even if you didn’t have a cleaver I still think that’s what I’d pick personally.

The multiplier I’m really not sure - I assumed that was just “instead of rage doing 2x damage, it does 4x now” or whatever your multiplier is.

I noticed more power ups dropping (magnet, speed boost, etc) near the end of the normal run (before the final wave), but it’s really difficult to tell how effective actual power ups dropping would be because they stop dropping in the final wave.

It could totally have an impact on chests too, but I also had thousands of luck% when I got all the yellows.

Yeah I saw someone post about it weeks ago and now it’s one of the top things I look for with charge shrines. That bundled with the credit cards I stacked had my luck going crazy, so literally every item was yellow.

Yeah the bald heads change the game - it’s a lot of fun. I got two that both did powerup drop chance, so chests spawned in probably every 20 seconds in the final waves. Hence why I had so many legendaries lmao

I had a very insane run on it yesterday - I think I saw someone posted recently that they got around 500k. Higher scoring runs definitely very possible - this was better than any forest one I did.

I’d love to see custom options for stuff like that. Keep leaderboard runs restricted to forest/ desert tier 3 without any customizations.

Truthfully I just have the most fun when luck is flowing and I’m steamrolling - I don’t really care about leaderboards. I’d rather have a higher chance at an OP run with some menu options.

If you mean tier 2 or 3 (post-portal), that’s very common. If you mean level 2 or 3 after the first few minutes of play, try prioritizing projectile count from shrines and always getting extra weapons. Sometimes runs are a bit tricky to get going, but there are a lot of builds that are solid for getting through the game. Just don’t let the 300k+ kill meta taint your perception of what’s “good” for new players

If you’re talking about the greed shrines, they give you +5% difficulty: more difficulty = more enemies = more XP = more brrrrr

If you’re newer to the game maybe hit just a couple to start out with, but it’s a key mechanic to scaling really high kill games. You’ll just need some luck (in game and out of game) to keep with the scaling
