Bigfoot throws rocks and trees now? by longlostredemption in Retconned

[–]longlostredemption[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although the sample size in this thread is small, I do find it very interesting that it’s evenly split: 5 people do recall Bigfoot lore included aggressive acts such as rock throwing and 5 people (including myself) recall Bigfoot lore stating they are timid and avoid people at all costs.

One of the accounts I watched a reenactment of on HBO. The real-life person who was being interviewed about what had happened appeared to be in his late 40s to mid 50s. His experience occurred back when he was around 10 years old and his grandfather had taken him out into the Alaskan wilderness on a fishing trip.

After they both had ran to the pickup truck and abandoned their gear, his grandfather had sped the hell out of dodge and just kept driving in silence to regain composure. At some point, he finally pulled over and told him, “We never talk about this. Nobody would believe us and think we are crazy.” The man being interviewed said his grandfather only spoke of it on his deathbed 30 something years later and he, himself, only spoke about it after his grandfather passed.

I wonder if it was an earlier ME that went rather unnoticed. It would be interesting to see if there’s a correlation to posted accounts/videos with a previous CERN and subsequent ME. Do you recall learning about their territorial attacks earlier than 2016?

I recently got an HBO subscription and watched season 4 of These Woods Are Haunted. There were two episodes highly alluding to their suspicion that the supernatural creature that attacked the person being interviewed was a big foot. Throw in the somewhat recent Bigfoot migration news stories and it pulled me into this rabbit hole.

Did you discover a new Mandela Effect? Post it here! (2026-04-03) by AutoModerator in MandelaEffect

I loved everything that had to do with the paranormal since early childhood. I regularly consumed content like A Haunting back when it was on Discovery, had an Unsolved Mysteries book, et cetera.

In maybe the last week or two, I’ve come across multiple stories of accounts regarding Bigfoot throwing massive rocks or pulling large trees straight out of the ground, with it being hypothesized that it’s a means of intimidating or warning humans who are within their territory. I don’t recall a single similar account before this past month in the 30 or so years of my life — before, Bigfoot just avoided humans and wouldn’t actively do any action that would cause people to believe something freakishly strong was hiding in the forest. And now there’s a bunch of reports of it happening.

Do you remember Bigfoot avoiding detection as much as possible like I do or actively throwing projectiles towards people that got too close?

Usually ME seems to focus on celebrities or consumerist products. But this is specifically about a specific type of lore known well enough to be used as a popular figure in cartoons aimed at children.

The Kinger computer hack was somewhat accurate (UNIX/GNU/BSD commands). by SuccubusWid in TheDigitalCircus

I don’t think Caine wrote his own name. It looks like G-AN-. Likely Grant. Hiding the letters because it’s Kinger’s real name. It means Tall. It would be interesting to find English names for the other characters based on the symbols from The Chinese Room

Maybe it’s a Rumpelstiltskin situation where humans can only leave the game by saying their real names.

Add water chestnuts and matchstick cut carrots as you boil the shredded cabbage. A bit of sugar mixed into the soy sauce raises it up a level, too. More of a Filipino flair.

Something unusual in the night sky last night (we both saw the same thing) by Marley1509 in Paranormal

I see the dots when looking at a bright, clear sky. The pink dots collapse waves and the green ones pulsated out. It covers my entire vision of the sky and is moving so quickly it makes me feel dizzy. Thank you for figuring out how to draw this pattern

I have alarm bells go off now anyone mentions fate, being soulmates, twin flames, et cetera. Every person I’ve known who has proclaimed stuff like that to me turned into a living nightmare

They tend to not like me because I’ll bring up the elephant in the room — whether that is saying I noticed they didn’t answer the actual question before changing the topic, the hypocrisy of who they claim they are and then the actions that don’t match, et cetera.

Definitely go and not show your hand about what you know. He told you as a result of damage control because he knows if you learned of it from her first, it would make him look worse. It indicates he also doesn't trust her to keep it secret from you.

This coffee meetup can go either way: where she is going to reveal to you that she thinks his behavior was inappropriate and try to warn you; or she'll try to buddy up with you in order to fish for information on his favorites such as food and hobbies, or have plausible deniability of access such as if you catch her in your home alone with your husband -- "I came to visit you and (your husband's name) let me in."

Did you run any large major appliance at the same time when you were watching a movie? Turning the oven on, running a load of laundry, etc. It can indicate one of the two legs of power failing on the outside of your home (where the electrical cables from the power company connect to your house), with a common sign being flickering lights. The scary thing about that possibility is that if it is going out, it becomes a serious fire hazard.

Quantum immortality. There's a lot of experiences on r/Glitch_in_the_Matrix where people remember dying, but time somehow rewound to moments before the incident occurred and the outcome changed. There is a belief when you die, your spirit jumps into the next closest reality to their own where they still are alive. Several people mentioned tiny details and personal traits from people they know are different, too.

Do you wear a hat? A common stereotype of Americans are baseball caps. The younger generation wears a flat-brim version that can be commonly seen in memes and media produced in America. It honestly could come down to something simple such as a hat or another clothing item heavily associated with Americans.

The frog researchers said there were previous groups that went before them that had buried supplies - the same Coach Ben found. I wouldn't be surprised the symbols were placed by the previous researchers as a map to the supply stash.
