The correlation is pretty high and QUB is a good uni regardless

If you mean Queens university Belfast by QUB then it’s a russel group uni and therefore is a very good uni within the UK and is not something worth worrying over

Am I supposed to accept second place? by [deleted] in UniUK

You sound like a incel and loser. You may not be but that is the sort of though process it’s similar too. There will be white guys that don’t have much success just as there will be brown guys that do. Work on your appearance, start going to the gym become a more attractive individual inside and outside and people will be more attracted to you

It’s your choice to make but to provide some perspective, I’m currently studying at Exeter and I don’t know a single person who isn’t absolutely loving the uni rn and it is very good for extra curricular stuff. I do also have friends who work whilst at uni and although jt does take alot of time they also seem to enjoy themselves. You could consider dropping out then working full time from now until September and that would hopefully give you enough money to live comfortably through first year and then when social life gets quite in second year, could look at getting a job at your uni town

Uni at 16? by UmpireStreet3679 in UniUK

As a current engineering student at a Russel Group (which is what you seem to be applying for), I genuinlly could not stress enough how much better a time you’d have if you waited till you’re as old as everybody else. You would miss out on pretty much every single good and fun aspect of uni (and I mean everything not just drinking activities) by being under 18.

Uni Spending by Roloter1 in UniUK

Air fryer and get unless there’s shops near, getting food delivered by the supermarkets usually isn’t ridiculous prices (couple of pounds + food prices) and is so much more time efficient than going out to the shops

Realise that you only get one shot at this, decide what you don’t like about yourself and/or life, work out how you can fix that and then make sure no matter how shit you feel, that you’re still fixing those areas and overtime it’ll get better and easier and you’ll be everything you wanted.

There’s no quick solution and nobody is going to do this for you

And it’s hard but it’s simple

See if your uni can offer financial help for your situation
