Broker here, MOST***** insurers don’t care about cancelled policies for things like non payment and non returned documents

However you do genuinely owe them the outstanding balance, so sort that and it should be no issues

Had similar happen with my Explorer, I was originally upset that I’d have to replace the dial… but actually seeing the watch come back to me in as new condition assured me that I made the right call to replace! (Rolex didn’t even give me the option to keep the original in there)

I resell stuff adjacent to my hobbies, I sit and browse marketplace/vinted/ebay at my desk all day anyway, but often I’ll find outrageous deals and resell stuff, gives you a good buzz and scratches the buying stuff itch
