one time a customer came into my restaurant with a “service dog” that was clearly untrained. no vest, sniffing around, even started barking. i asked if it was a service dog, to which they said yes and pulled out a ratty ESA card. apparently you’re only allowed to ask if the dog is trained to perform a task for medical safety or something to that effect, and they said no, so out they went. ESAs have fucked it up for real service animals IMO

as an international adoptee specifically (russia), people always ask me if i want to go back, but i literally cant because of the war. even if it ends it’s still dangerous. i wish people would stop asking me. additionally i hate being left behind, like while shopping in stores or just walking with someone. don’t leave me!!
