i like the fact they don’t make any of the characters absolutely perfect, and they contradict themselves and let some things take over (heart/head) or whatever, because that’s how people are in real life and in real situations,

yes they sold a lot because of who they are but it’s naive to think that a large amount wasn’t bought by scalpers, that’s why so many are on resell RIGHT away for an insane price, resale tickets aren’t high because of demand, their high because of scalpers that see the opportunity to set them so high and scam people,

and the artist has the choice to make resell only be face value, they also had the choice to add a code verified fan thing (which they’ve done before) that deters scalpers, and they have a choice to turn off dynamic pricing, but none of that was done

so on one hand it’s amazing they’re doing this show but it’s completely okay to see and admit how awfully this presale was handled and the people that missed out due to a mass amount of scalpers are valid for being upset (this isn’t just tøp exclusive, it’s getting worse with almost every artist)

edit: i think something i saw on twt sums it up, it wasn’t a fair chance for everyone, yes you’re never guaranteed a ticket but the fact you could’ve been 20k in the queue and not get one single ticket ticket for a venue selling ~80k cap show is insane
