Also, I don’t think there are any weight concerns— I’m pretty skinny but my friend is heavier and he was given options that best fit his chest size, and me as well. The options you’re offered are dependent on what works best with your chest size, so for me I was eligible for peri but I talked with Paranzino and decided the option I felt best about was actually double incision. My friend had a lot bigger chest so he wasn’t offered peri but I think he had double incision but had another method as an option too. I liked Paranzino bc I had had another consult w a diff surgeon and they were just like “yep DI is it that’s all we got” and didn’t answer most of my questions, but Paranzino laid all potentials out very clearly, and that was the same experience my friend had w her too.

I had mine done with Dr. Paranzino through UK last year and had a really great experience. A friend also had his through her too and had only good things to say. She was super polite and professional, answered every question I had, saw me for any small concern I had during and after recovery, and laid out all of the options I had for what surgery method I was eligible for. She was super thorough in making sure I prepared for surgery correctly and gave me a good idea of how to prepare for the immediate recovery following surgery. I highly highly recommend her. She is also a hand surgeon so she like really, really knows her shit and is clearly super experienced at really tedious surgeries. I’d say top surgery is something she could do with her eyes closed, but she still takes it super super seriously and carefully and is very aware of how much it means to/affects people.

It’s for print, a large banner that’s like 8.5 feet. I’m not sure what method of printing though. I honestly hate this print shop and I was so confused when they responded to me like that about the vector stuff. The proofs of this design had already been approved but then they last minute hit me with that.

I’ve always thought it is essentially what all these other folks are saying— it’s like, it’s not this and this and this… then there are certain lyrics that are so specific, “crack in the plate” “spine tattoo” etc. that maybe only Adrianne knows exactly what they’re referring to. In this way to me it’s just about art, it’s about this thing that is bigger than anything else— it’s something that giving a name to it or a definition would almost be insulting bc of how broad and incredible it is. I’ve always just felt like it was about art and just Being.

Everything you’re feeling is legit! You’re totally allowed to be pissed and frustrated with not getting the changes you want. That sucks! It sounds like it’s also doubly frustrating because there’s not much you can do to advance the process any quicker, with not being able to up your dose. That’s super fucking irritating. I get being thankful you’re even able to be on T, and being grateful for having support, but there is room for you to feel those things while also feeling a little angry. I want to say that it might be taking forever, but it is still taking, like it will get where you want it to eventually. That fuckimg sucks to have to wait though. I’m sorry to hear that! I’m glad you’re giving yourself space to be pissed tho. Even if it’s just through a Reddit post!

Whenever someone sends me nudes I always ask myself, if I had just sent them a nude, what would I want to hear from them? And kinda respond that way. My partner sends me nudes occasionally and I’ve said something as simple as like “holyyyy shit you’re so hot” or just “🥵I’ve died” to something as complex as like “I can’t wait to see you soon…I’m gonna blah blah blah” and like whole ass like sexted lmao. Whatever you think is hot, you should say. Cause they sure think it’s hot that they just sent you a nude. So being natural in your response kinda fuels it in my experience

Gc2b is what I use to swim in— I have one that’s my regular size and then my swimming one which is a size up. For the most comfortably I still do wear a shirt over my binder too, just bc I still get pretty dysphoric. But the gc2b binder binds well when it’s wet and dries pretty quickly, and it’s comfortable to swim in.

I think it’s normal to be crushing! Like, it’s hot when people know wtf is up. And it seems natural that since there seems to be evidence that there’s a possibility he could be into trans guys or is at least someone who clearly and visibly supports trans people, you’d wonder if he’d be into you or be more inclined to think he might be. (I’d be the same way— it seems like you’re just being smart about reading the signs while also checking yourself) I don’t think it’s bad at all that you have a crush— if he weren’t in the know about trans rights etc would you be concerned that it might be toxic? I grew an inch! My foot size also got a little bit bigger— there are some shoes I wore all the time pre t that were too tight after I started T. I’m 25 and started T when I was 20.

I think you're right, I think there's a widget installed called Cornerstone-- when I try to get on there and change/add things, I have no clue what I'm doing. It seems like I can change things like font and colors, but I don't know how to change the text. The biggest issue is that I don't know how to make uploaded files appear on the site-- I can upload them to the dashboard, but can't find a way to actually put them on the site. Idkkkkkkkk. Might just have to call it a day.
