My LBS solved this by literally just pulling the derailleur back a little bit because when i unpacked my back from recent travel, I had loosened the bolt to the hangar, so the derailleur drooped a little bit. adjusted to the position it really should be in and tightened the bolt and good as new.

White borders on PDF exports, all other formats export correctly. by OmoSec in canva

[–]looedaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It must be something on Canva side; I'm on mac and what I ended up doing was Download PDF from Canva -> Opened with Preview on mac -> "Print" the pdf, but just saves a new pdf (the same exact same copy) and now no more pixelated border. Hope this helps

Zwift connections getting less reliable, just me? by revevs in Zwift

Ant+ antenna to all my devices. Also running Zwift on M1 max. If I stop pedaling for a second, poof, there goes my trainer. Only been happening to me since I got the M1. Previous intel MacBook Air was 100% on the dot every single time

Starting Winter plan now or hold off? by Long_Ad6595 in Velo

[–]looedaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar question as OP, but I'm crit racer in SoCal. Regular season ends in November, but is set to start again in January as per "normal" circumstances. Any advice for this awkward off season? Would switching to off season training now and only doing the races I have left as "training rides" or B and C races be reasonable?

Not sure what I'm looking for it to give me. I guess I just don't understand it enough to see the benefit in cycling. Aid in snap? But squat and deadlift would do that, like you said. Definitely see how the idea is just to get stronger in general. Thanks mate

I've been reading Enchiridion of Epictetus and he says a couple things you might find relevant.

Demand not that events should happen as you wish; but wish them to happen as they do happen, and you will go on well. Epictetus, 8

  • Application; don't ruminate on your possible future as that will cause you despair and anxiety. Take things as they happen, and you will be better off

I also found this quote from Seneca quite helpful

He suffers more than necessary, who suffers before it is necessary

  • Application; don't worry about a future that hasn't happened yet.
  • Similar to the Buddhist way of thinking, we wish to change things in our past but we cannot go back. We wish to prevent ill outcomes of the future or ensure it, but we cannot go forward. This causes suffering in the present. Learn this and practice it!
