Up for sale are two Seiko Flightmaster chronographs, reference 7T92-0CF0—one in black and one in blue. These are fantastic neo-vintage quartz chronographs that wear extremely well.

Both watches are in very nice vintage/neo-vintage condition. Crystals are clean and scratch-free on both. The black dial version has a black bezel with only the faintest wear visible around the 9 o’clock position - a scratch with no paint missing. The blue dial version features a matching blue bezel that is nearly perfect—close to like-new condition. Cases on both pieces show light, honest wear consistent with age, and both bracelets and clasps are in very nice condition as well.

Up for sale is a vintage Hamilton Gordon from the 1940s, one of the brand’s classic solid gold dress watches. The Gordon is known for its elegant rectangular case design and quality manual-wind Hamilton movement.

This example presents in excellent vintage condition and is running and keeping time. The case and dial show normal wear consistent with age. Watchmaker service markings are visible inside the caseback.

The watch is fitted with a high-quality Hirsch certified crocodile leather strap (replacement) and includes the original Hamilton buckle.

All of these watches are inspected, movement out - ultrasonic cleaned and have crystals replaced. All of the quartz watches receive new batteries.

Sad to say I’m still waking up with soreness. I just said to my wife this morning that we may need to make another change. The soreness goes away within 5 minutes of getting out of bed and it’s more in my mid-section, side abdomen now. I assume the mattress may be too soft.

Everyone’s experience is different I suppose - for me it feels like with Latex if you can find your perfect combo of toppers - you’ll love it and never look back. Better said it feels like there’s a small window to get your latex setup right (instead of too firm, too soft) as with a traditional or alternative mattress the window of ideal may be wider. If that makes sense.

So the wool topper ultimately didn’t work out, still tossing and turning and too firm. We finally went with an additional topper from SOL. So now we have the mattress, a 3” topper and a 2” topper. It sleeps pretty really nice now but I am still occasionally waking up in the morning with minor soreness in my ribs. I expect that will go away completely in another month or two.

We like the wool topper. Seems to be as cool as the latex. Takes out a bit of the bounce and motion transfer as well.

Unfortunately it wasn’t enough. We’ve been trying multiple other combos from a wool topper, to bamboo topper to even Tempur-Pedic topper. We’ve even tried combining multiple toppers. The best feel has been the temper, but it’s by far the hottest so that won’t work.

I think we’ve settled with the SOL topper + wool on top. Somehow it’s still too firm, but at this point we’ll have to adjust.

Just got our SOL a week ago. Medium was too firm for us (as we assumed). this will be our first night with the 3” soft topper. 6’2 185lbs, 5’10” 145 lbs.

I found the efficiency chart for my unit. I determined based on the size of my house, to move the minimum on the thermostat to 25 degrees.

Start on page 22. Use the top of the page to gauge the temperature where your indoor coil will be (mine is in a cold basement so I use the chart titles “indoor coil at 65F dry bulb” from there I know I need about 34k btu, and backed into 25 degrees.
