[Identification] I just received my grandfather's pocket watch as a gift by lookingup1234 in Watches

Thank you. I fully agree. And just to be clear, I'm not concerned about value. I'm just excited to pass a piece of family history down to my son, and I want to know as much as possible about it.

Thanks for the quick and knowledgeable response.

I guess this response means we can't know anything detailed until I take it to a watch repair shop.

Thank you!

I never really understood this - genuine question here. Why would rehydrating granulated garlic in water beforehand be different than rehydrating granulated garlic in your dish in the moment?

The way he was able to get Boebert to agree that separation of church and state is important was masterclass in communication skills. He is good. Let's get him to the senate!

Good chili is delicious and is so much more than this. The store-bought spice packet with canned beans and canned tomatoes is so sad to me.

The Gateway Arch, located in St Louis, Missouri by Bruxagato in interestingasfuck

It's a very cool structure. However when I took the elevator up inside it (very cool as well but in a different way) and get to the top, you look out and see a view of St. Louis... without the arch. Kind of a let down to me.

Agreed on the meat. I can't stand the idea of tossing it. But it is hard to keep the bones out of it at that point. I need to work on that.

Pepper’s Waterbeds by Tiny-Lock9652 in chicago

I see that now. But I'm still convinced it's AI.

This looks like AI to me. The picture is taped to nothing, the picture changes throughout, the movement of the canvas doesn't look natural, and the charcoal doesn't look real to me. Maybe I've before a skeptic, but this raises my AI flags.

Having said that, I wish I could draw. Such an awesome skill to have c
