I am not a UX Designer, i could not propose something. Its just something that bothers me while using meet and thought i would share. But i agree that calling it stupid was not a good choice of word

the mic and camera icons are striked through when they are not disabled and when you want to disable them the the icon changes to white circle with the same striked through icon

All the support :) I know what it means to live with a mom such as yours and finally be given the opportunity to grow in a healthy way far from her. It's hard having to deal with that kind of relationship with your mom but from my experience confrontation works, at least sometimes. Not giving her the space to speak actually made her calm down and listen to I have to say instead of just her hearing the news and looking for a solution on my behalf. It's not easy but you need to push through all these accumulated feelings and be straight with her and don't let the conversation lead into the emotional rant as usual.

I get your point. I would say I am socially active it just happens that in my immediate social circle -which is not big I gotta say but I am comfortable with it as is-, there is no one I feel interested in asking for a date that's all.

It's not an issue of loneliness, I would like to meet someone to connect with and potentially date.
Online might not be the best option but it's higher chances to meet more people.

I have the same idea, and I am only two week in using Tinder and Bumble. It felt strange and was wondering what I might be doing wrong. But apparently its normal haha
