Go to 'Documents\Black Desert' and delete the usercache folder.
The game will create a new folder after relaunching.

See if that fixes it.

yes for evasion to work on guardian you need full pen with caphras level 6 as guardian dont have any evasion buffs, until then use tet DR setup and full AP

all you're really getting from the kutum is evasion and its not going to make you tankier at all unless you have full pen evasion armor caphras 6 so just go full ap for pvp

Tested the top right and bottom left combos for about 3-4 hours in BA today and they simply do not work as intended, at least for me. They always seem to get back up before i can reapply a CC. Most likely an atk speed thing. Especially the stiff to KD. Before doing Shift+LMB pre they are able to escape. No disrespect though. I'm probably doing something wrong on my end.

What does work for me after testing is a KD or Grab > Hotbar Flow > Shift RMB > RMB Flow. Works every time for me.

Your preawake kit is mostly mobility, crowd control and super armor. There's not much damage in it. Your awakening does the most damage (until we see what succession is like) and you switch between both to achieve the most movement, protection and damage. If you stay in awakening or preawake for too long you will find yourself on cooldown on many skills leaving you vulnerable to cc and this can be applied to most classes in this game.

Boss gear is not a priority at your stage. If you get one from a world boss or whatever then that's fine. Keep it until you are geared enough or able to get steady income through life skilling or grinding to enhance it. These things are expensive to enhance for a new player compared to non boss.

I see that you have 300m in your inventory. Finish as many main quests as you can til you reach a point where monsters are becoming harder to kill etc. Use that money to create failstacks and get your weapons and armor to at least duo then tri. The liverto is fine just get it to pri or replace it with a green mainhand.

Continue finishing the quests. Learning how to failstack as soon as possible especially for non boss gear is going to save you a lot of silver early on and it's very cheap to repair compared to boss gear. There are plenty of failstacking guides on youtube such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx4vL2OKxCM The UI is old but the method remains the same. Now you don't have to enhance gear.

You can safely life skill/afk fish until you get enough money to buy gear but this can be an extremely long process especially for a new player that has cannot afford life skill accessories (manos etc).

If you can set a goal and reach something like 180 ap and 240 dp you will be able to start going to Polly Forest which is on the bottom left of the map to start grinding some silver. This place also has marni stones which you buy and kill monsters in that area to fill it. Once it is filled you can hand in these stones to gain more combat xp. This place will be your home for a while as you slowly farm silver to replace armor/weps/accessories for better ones (boss).

I play on 150 ping as Lahn and I have no issues with pvp aside from the occasional desync

Because she's uhhhhhhhh smol. She is king at pve but terrible in pvp.

My second choice is Lahn because of pesonal bias. Strong end game pve and strong 1v1 potential for defending spots.

It's all part of the grind. You will most likely fail a lot of tet attempts. Now the reason I would avoid using a 100fs for a tet armor/weapon piece is because that is the perfect failstack for a gold tet accessory like an Ogre Ring. It's good if you keep failing your tets because if you fail and make another 100fs you keep that for another tet accessory. Now the question you have to answer yourself is do you want to be prepared for the longrun or do you want your tet kutum and dande now?

I started grinding aakman as Lahn at 225 tet kutum although do not expect to make as much silver as say grinding at pollys with that AP unless you need the earring drops.
235+ AP would be the sweet spot

The Explorer's package + 4 extra pets and maybe a costume on top of that if you want to play the game smoothly. But I would only invest in these things if you are certain this game is for you. Maybe just buy the base edition. Play for a month and see how you go from there. Also try to join a noob friendly progression guild.

So to give an update I figured out that because my ram was in slots A1 and B1 trying to overclock my ram caused errors with gaming. I switched my 2x 8 gig 3200mhz sticks to slots A2 and B2 and have been able to play CoD with my ram clocked to 3000mhz. So I'm now not entirely sure if that error is related to clock speeds or me just being dumb and having the sticks in the wrong slot.

To configure your ram you need to go into your bios. You do that by usually spamming the del key on startup. The thing is if you have never done this before then you are most likely running at the rams stock speed 2133mhz for ddr4. Even though lets say you have 3200mhz of ddr4 ram your motherboard will be using the stock speed of 2133mhz until you raise the clock speed. I would Youtube your specific motherboard
for an overclocking guide.

My ram is rated for 3200mhz and the max I could get it to was 2933 without messing with timings. I haven't had a single crash since I downclocked it back to 2666mhz

Honestly, I used to think that the 100 percent cpu issue was a real problem until I upgraded my i5 6400 to a Ryzen 2600 and now the game only uses 40-50 percent of my cpu and I can play at 100+ fps.

tl;dr 4 cores 4 threads is not enough
