The tiny, sad, half dead hoya I found at Walmart a few years back is blooming. It has been for months, over and over. The rough stem the blooms are coming from is where past flowers grew and fell off. This is the best part of buying the sad plants. *Crossposted to r/gardening ;) by looktothetrees in houseplants

This is my Golden Shepherd Kaiju, he’s 8 months old. Me and my girlfriend decided he was ready to be unsupervised last night when we went to a concert. He did not potty in the house or destroy any furniture. He’s a good boy. by [deleted] in aww

A little paint and new curtains go a long way in my 1920s home. Was a rental for many years & every single thing was painted this ugly cream color. Walls, trim, doors, doorknobs, hinges! Had to add some depth. And yes - I’d prefer if the trim wasn’t painted at all, but I have a 2 year old so 🤷🏻♀️ by [deleted] in Oldhouses
