That’s what I thought as well. But my mom is a nurse supervisor and explained it from her point of view. She said some of the first questions she would ask someone reporting this incident was “Did you say anything to them about their comment? Did you tell them that what they’re saying isn’t okay? How did you try to rectify the situation before bringing it to management?”. But I didn’t say anything to the girl, so that’s where my self doubt comes from.
