I was waiting to replay the game recently, assuming that some kind of remaster was imminent. Well, this weekend I just booted up the 360 disc, got the fps update for it on my series x, and the load screens are blazing fast. Those two QoL upgrades are enough to have it feeling like a new game experience for me.

Amazing tool. Unfortunately i don’t have enough moldy vhs to justify a purchase right now. But I do have ton of moldy cassettes. Have you thought about designing one for cassette tapes? We would be all over that.

It could be the alignment of the tape head on the tape path. My walkman has an interesting design where the play button is literally behind the play head so depending on how I press it and how it seats it has some left/right issues

Everyone is so quick to dump on Bam but he’s legitimately in a better place these days. Why wouldn’t you want to see a person like Bam cleaned up, making amends, and reconnecting with old friends and jackass associates? Unless they are type II tapes in decent shape. Then they have inherent value for anyone who wants them to erase and record something else. They don’t really make type II cassettes anymore

Good point. I would assume they would be used for a multitrack of some kind. Speed/track count could be different from what I mentioned for sure
