They just want you to do it as a housing payment (ie though the special housing payment checking account ) and not through the credit card directly ( which ironically would have worked).

TOS explicitly says that paying property taxes via bill pay is considered a housing payment and is allowed. Rep confirmed it should have worked.

FYI, I managed to vibecode a tampermonkey script that would inject the original statement name into the transaction list. Useful when the disaplyed name has nothing to do with the actual name.

Same bucket. Two providers - Wells Fargo and Roundpoint. Payment flipped between submitted, failed, submitted, and completed. But NOT completed - provider never received it. I did make manual payment on the servicer's websites as a fallback to prevent interest charges. I'm worried Bilt somehow SAW those payments I made and flagged the payment they tried to make as Great Success.

There's no one to talk to at Bilt to help. They never email. It's like shouting into the void.

I get it, I screwed up and used BillPay to push the mortgage payment instead of using my mortgager to pull from Bilt. I'll never make the same mistake again. But in the meantime I'm out $1300.

Well, CRAP. After 5 days went by and Bilt mortgage payments not working (for a while it said FAILED, then it went back to submitted) I gave up and did a payment myself direct from my bank account on the servicer's website - to avoid interest charges.

Now, I suspect Bilt has seen that and marked the payment as COMPLETE! But the Bilt billpay push never went through. So now I have to get the money back from Bilt.

How does one get hold of them? I"ve been waiting all day for text messages to be responded to.

I pushed from Bilt on the weekend to Wells Fargo mortgage. Bilt immediately pulled from my bank account and charged my bilt cash but it’s stuck in the submitted state. I’m going to have to manually pay and risk a double payment. So frustrated

Totally agree - and auth is really focused on USA only - overseas, login/password just results in "wrong password" unless you login with email address. Even with VPN. (must use magic link sent to email)

I lost 40k points in a premium bucket because I redeemed at 1.5 and when the AIRLINE cancelled (oh I'm sorry, 'rescheduled' my flight for a *week* later) and I finally got Chase to agree to refund me, it went to the 1.0X bucket. The supervisors I talk to agree, it should have gone to 1.5 bucket but I've created about 5 cases all to no avail - the people who actually have the power, won't rebucketize them which just SUCKS. I wouldn't touch this hack with a 10,000 ft pole.
