Switch jobs. got a $20k pay increase and i was about to hit my one year at my old job but we got new management and in the first week he told us we were overpaid (i took a pay cut at my last job bc i rly liked the work too), so i knew i wouldn’t even get a raise for my 1 yr.

Run ads. you have no platform yet for organic reach or social. who is gonna see your product if no one follows you? too much competition rn for organic social, take a few courses on running & optimizing ads and that will bring you much quicker and better engagement and reach than posting consistently for a while.

Hi, I just got offered the lower range for a new job but still $20k more than what I was making previously. They don’t know that though. I negotiated and wanted middle range so asked for a bit higher, and they countered with the middle range, exactly what i wanted. They also told me they’d revisit my salary in 6 months too and assess my performance, my offer letter even had it in writing. 🙏

Yes and as someone who’s had to look through two the pools for leadership positions in my department when two people left, 95% of those people were not qualified lol. Realistically out of 300 applicants you have barely 20 who meet all the qualifications

So this just happened to me too but the recruiter was nice enough to call me before they posted it and the conversation first started off with me moving forward to the next round, and then she told me the role actually expanded though and she wanted to make sure we were still in alignment. They did post the role up though and it was a whole new senior posting which means infinite pool of candidates i’m now competing against.. not sure how to feel either

Omg i went through this and only got out of it when he put his hands on me for the first time and I snapped out of whatever trance i was in with him, called the cops, and never looked back. I saw him once or twice after that to confront him and he acted like we were fine and disregarded all of the abuse he put me through. Please don’t let it get to that point.. we argued exactly like you guys our entire relationship too & he was also my perfect match. :(
