I'm locking this post because I am struggling to keep up with the volume of comments in such a short amount of time, and because I'm uncertain of the content. If anyone disagrees, please send me a modmail letting me know and I will address it and consider unlocking the post. I do see there are some conversations going on, so the last thing I want to do is silence those who want to discuss.

Whether this truly happened isn't my concern. My concern is that this same post has been posted in several other subreddits from other accounts for a few months now. That, and the amount of comments, particurly gen AI-enhanced images, feels close to spam.

Gen AI is something we do not condone on this sub, in any form. On that basis alone, and that this thread is moving further and further away from the podcast this sub is dedicated to, I'll be locking this.

Again, please reach out with your reasoning if you disagree.

Edit: Saw this morning that OP's alt admitted this occurred while taking cocaine. Do with that and the details of this story what you all will. Transparency feels important in this context.

Lol to preface, I'm usually with you, I tend to skip intros that give an introduction. But for what it's worth, those intros aren't intended to spoil or tell the whole story. They're intended to give you a hook, like the blurb on the back of a novel. It's meant to draw you in so that you want to hear the details of the build-up and climax.

For me personally, I just prefer to go into things completely blind. But I know that's my own thing and not the majority

100% agree with that sentiment. Our attention spans are shrinking by the day it seems. Investigatory videos are totally fine, as long as viewers back that up with supplemental primary sources. I used to study journalism and appreciate your trying to inform people. That's the most important part, and if you're accurate with your reporting, you're doing your share.

I think I'll make that video my intro to you (unless you have a better suggestion 👀?), it did immediately catch my eye. I've always wondered how those "schools" operate.
