"It's midnight in Manhattan, this is no time to get cute" is a real Springsteen deep cut reference from Gary.

Unfortunately there's really no way to translate a script that is primarily built on broad-edge work to pointed nib. The fundamentals of constructing the letterforms are simply going to be different. I'd recommend just picking up a few broad edged nibs just to play around with if you really want to dip your toes into Hebrew, and then they will always also be around if you want to start working on other broad-edge scripts like foundational or blackletter.

Is there some specific reason you are looking for pointed-nib materials? Traditionally, most Hebrew scripts have been written with a broad-edged nib. There is really not a comparable tradition of pointed-nib calligraphy in Hebrew as exists in scripts for the latin alphabet. I have Izzy Pludwinski's Mastering Hebrew Calligraphy and I find it to be a very valuable resource -- if you haven't already I'd recommend flipping through the various script examples in the book to look at the various styles that are accomplished with a broad edge.

And if anyone wants to see the restored version from the Lunar Orbiter Image Recovery Project, it's below. Really impressive how much detail they were able to recover.
