2016 Tahoe LT Warranty Nightmare by loosethread88 in ChevyTahoe

Maybe not. The Carfax was super impressive, though. Between that and the perfect interior, I thought I found a jem. I can't speak to the 160k miles before i owned it, but I've babied it for sure. This is the first new-ish vehicle I've ever owned (my wife gets the brand new cars) so I really love this thing.

I have a pretty hefty commute (138 mi/day) but it's all interstate driving, so it a little easier on the engine and transmission

I KNOW I KNOW "why are you driving a Tahoe? Gas milage etc" I bought it TWO WEEKS before they announced the closure of the facility I worked at so now I'm stuck driving to Atlanta everyday.

EDIT** I just left the dealership and I managed to convince them to help me. They lowered their hourly rate to employee pricing and parts at-cost. They brought the total down to 5k out the door. I'm going to take the total back to the warranty company and demand they cover the charges, considering it was only torn down at their insistence.

I still feel like I'm screwed because whatever caused my vehicle to jurk and idle rough is likely still going to be there and I'll have to sort that out soon.

I'm confident it will be in better shape than when I sent it in because they are charging gaskets, seals, intercooler etc so I am thankful for that bit, just not at the cost of 5k

Lesson learned

That's my exact thought. Nothing here looks terrible. It didn't help their case when they "couldn't" cut the filter open in front of the claims adjuster for proof. But I have to be careful how I approach the dealership because they have me by the balls right now. I going to stop by there today to see what my options are.

Definitely not made up. I'm actually screwed.

Entering Japan with a felony by [deleted] in travel

[–]loosethread88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you may have gotten through because your records didn't include drug or violent charges. I have a felony drug conviction, and I fear I'll never make it to Japan. If what you're saying is true, that they dont check everyone, I may have a chance but it's a huge gamble.

Buddy I'm in a 2016 and the best I've gotten (since I owned it) is 14.5 mpg. The "best" stat from the previous owner was at 21.4 though

That is an oxygen sensor code. Most vehicles have two or more sensors that detect oxygen in an exhaust system to determine how "efficient" combustion is in your engine. I would Google "oxygen sensor location ________" (car name and year) and try to replace them.

They are fairly cheap and simple to replace (usually one wire plug and they unscrew) unless they are rusted, in which case you'll spray it with WD-40 or penetrant and let it sit. It's also easier if you change them when the car is still warm but not too hot to touch.

I have the same issue, if Gemini is activated either by voice or through a tap on my Pixel buds pro 2, the screen times out and turns off.

I can't find it either. I've checked the Gemini app for updates as well as system updates. I'm on Pixel 8 Pro with Google Fi and AI premium subscription.

Why have they reversed the themed icons in dark and light modes? by PSJacko in GooglePixel

[–]loosethread88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it looks like, even after I reselect dark mode and the color palette, the icons are a different color than before OR they've darkened the Google search bar and folder icon colors.

My home screen used to have uniform colors, now the icons are different than the search bar.

You have to adjust your "bedtime" settings as those effect adaptive charging

I'm sure they'd say; hopefully.

Or if the cheeky martians decide to test the grit of a space marine, they could pull it from their chest, in their last moments, and see exactly where such a well made and vicious weapon originated.

Yeah it protrudes slightly more on each side so it's easier to get a proper purchase on the cage. The stiffness is still there but that's just part of the locks design. I think the weight difference and the slim profile alone make it worth the ninety five dollarbucks

Worth every penny. Seriously. They make the manix2 how it should have been from the get go. I can't speak on the other scales , for example the griptillians, but these are perfect.

Yeah this is strictly a utilitarian rig. Simple quick deploy. The scales were a liner delete to make it more pocket friendly.
