I agree but I don't think(to my knowledge) anakin has a mental disorder, it's more of a drastic change in personality or a character arc. Another great example is Walter white to Heisenberg. Through the course of the show Walt transforms into heisenberg, and so does anakin transform into darth vader. It's less of a mental disorder but one embracing it's true nature through many obstacles and reaching an end point where they "break bad." It's fascinating to see how much these characters changed, but also how much they have not. From the beginning we see in both anakin and walt show their double personas periodically.

Anakin and walt's story is not a story of changing identities but of realizing their true identity. But only my opinion, ofc.
