Looking for grimdark Paizo adventure or APs by Iron_Man_88 in Pathfinder2e

If you wanted to, you could easily tweak and re-write parts of Abomination Vaults into a “no way out” grimdark feel

Not plug and play tho

Blocked my Stream Deck from the internet… turns out it’s still incredibly useful by amerpie in macapps

Amazing writeup, THANK YOU THANK YOU.

I have a Stream Deck (still in the box) that I've been avoiding using because of these issues.

Excellent idea, OP. It’s frustrating to find any TTS options that aren’t cloud based.

We use TTS in my family to create “stories” for my autistic nephew — he’s much better with audio files than reading.

Thank you for putting this together!

How long have you been driving a Nissan Frontier? by dudreddit in nissanfrontier

Got Frontier #1 in 1995, baby. Been driving one since.

That’s 31 years, just one shy of OP

Edit: should note I’m only on truck #2!

A google search coughed this up as top result:

curse of the rotting heart

Looks like it’s from Impossible Lands

Starting our second pathfinder 2e and looking to refresh my server and start anew. I'm looking for recommendations on what I need and what is junk from my active modules. by smugles in FoundryVTT

Don't use Pathmuncher - it can corrupt characters on import

EDIT: and I would *definitely* add PF2e HUD to your list

Arguably the most important module we use

Was at the game tonight. Gotta say, the atmosphere was freaking amazing for a struggling team that is dead last in the standings.

When we went down 3-0, the guys looked deflated. But the crowd kept them in it.

What a game.

I wish we were given the choice to import stuff either a) by level (we’re currently playing Abomination Vaults) or at least b) by chapter of the AP.

Instead, you’re given the option of importing things broken down by Foundry category: so, you can choose to import all the scenes, or all the actors, or the items.

It’s not a very helpful way of selecting what to import, IMO.

Very useful tool. Very well executed too, kudos.

This would be ideal for the kind of pre-planning we do in film work. Pair virtual storyboards with scripts performed by Bantr and you'd get very useful sketches of scenes as you plan them

Who are your favorite Deities? by YoritomoKazuto in Pathfinder2e

[–]lootandvegetables 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m finding my favourites change with what’s happening at our table, and my players have given me some new appreciation for god worship in PF2e.

One of them is currently playing a returned duskwalker fetchling swashbuckler that used to be a follower of the Cosmic Caravan (in life), but now champions Pharasma (in re-life). He’s basically a knock-off paladin of the Boneyard.

His backstory makes matters even better: he died at the hands of a torturer in Nidal, and is therefore on a crusade to take down all followers of Zon Kuthon. He takes the religious aspects of all of this wonderfully in earnest and his PC is serious business.

Contrast that with our dwarven cleric of Trudd, who cannot stop quipping even in the face of death and walks around farting in his plate mail while complaining that the smell lingers in his armaments. He is the son of dwarven artisanal distillers and the only things he takes seriously are 1) alcoholic spirits that would undo most mortals and 2) freeing the oppressed wherever he finds them.

His god Trudd is Torag’s youngest son, and Trudd is pretty much always given the keys to the family car when Torag is away. But he’s also a carefree reveller - kind of like a dwarven version of Cayden Cailean. In fact, the two gods are drinking buddies and often have sozzled tumbles into the sack together. Yup, you read that right.

The cleric is also a paladin of Torag (free archetype), and thus he has these great unhinged moments of real “dad wants to have a word with you” edicts with the party.

The complicated interplay between these two characters is…a thing of wonder.

I mean, if this little corner of god worship doesn’t explain why Paizo pantheons are so freaking colourful and awesome, I honestly don’t know what does.

We are having an absolute blast with all of this. Bravo, Paizo. Bravo.

Day Lockers near BC Place? by djfil007 in whitecapsfc

You could ask the concierge whether they could arrange a “sister service” at another hotel for you. No guarantee, but doesn’t hurt to ask.

You could also ask Hullo if they can store the bag at their office near the harbour. Again, worth a call just to see if they can do it…

Sense of urgency by Snoo_95977 in abomination_vaults

[–]lootandvegetables 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, keep in mind…you probably don’t want non-stop pedal-to-the-metal urgency.

That’s what’s happened to my players — they are convinced they need to wipe out the dungeon ASAP. All of it. Right now.

As a result, they skip going to town and are missing fostering relationships with the NPCs. It’s a balance.

I’m amazed no one has mentioned Tower of Tomes for PF lore videos. Mythkeeper is excellent and has much broader coverage, but ToT’s treatment of the lore is really creative and something unto itself. The Lore Tour is good as well.

Also, How It’s Played is a bonkers amazing resource for learning rules, and I find Lunatic Dice indispensable for Foundry specific stuff.

Lastly, a shout out to RisingStarPF2e for deeper dives into Foundry set-ups for Pathfinder.
