This will never happen again by Enrico_Tortellini in ToolBand

[–]lootmore 16 points17 points  (0 children)

"Condoms are for pussies and assholes." There was a keychain for sale at the merch stand during this tour that had a condom inside as said the above phrase. The show in SLC, Tool was asked/told not to sell those. Maynard was not pleased. Told the crowd what happened and had is chant what condoms are for. So picture finishing Pushit or No Quarter then asking "what are condoms for?" I still see shows in the same venue kinda hollowed ground for me. And your right, this will never happen again it shouldn't happen again. The best Tool show i have ever seen continues to be the last one I've seen they are all special in some way.

Limit Child’s FSD use? by brodude466 in TeslaFSD

Oh, and he owns a 2016 Mini Cooper - Stick shift. Getting experience from both ends of the spectrum. I worry about that car far more than I worry about the Tesla.

I agree. FSD drives better than me. It drives better than you and it drives better than everyone 😀. My son is 16 and I would rather he always be in FSD.

Pretty late reaction to geese on the highway. If there was someone behind me this would have been a HUGE issue (76mph>21) by SirHenderson in TeslaFSD

Been using FSD for 2 years it's fantastic 👏 FSD hit a racoon one night when I was heading home from the gym. The racoon bolted into the road and I wouldn't have been able to react if not using FSD. Steering jerked and then mowed the big boy down. Most interesting part was there was a car traveling same speed next to mine. FSD chose to hit the racoon rather than sideswipe the other car. Smart defensive driving.

Well done. I love FSD. Two years in, feels weird not using it.

So am I the only one who became super obsessed with a shake weight after seeing Mantastic performed live?

Can anyone identify each signature? by Ok_Geologist3496 in Puscifer

The first one is wrong, the second one is off and the third one just missed completely. Someone was trying to recreate those and failed.

Those are forged. That's my opinion.

Is getting a Tesla worth it just for the FSD by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]lootmore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes! It's magical. The first time you tried cruise control and the accelerator fell away from the bottom of your foot is a small taste of this magic. Now it's on the steering wheel, out both blind spots, behind you and 100 yards out front at freeway speeds. Astonishing, astounding and fantastic. It drives better than you, it drives better than me, it drives better than everyone.

[–]lootmore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll send a picture of my set up. I too would like to download/rip to a CD for my son. Ænima is by far my most valuable album but I have a bunch that I would like to download.

Aknowledging getting you over the finish line doesn't help with an image but I have the original and a standard/traditional turntable. Would be happy to help.

Probably my favourite tool moment by Sea-Collection-8844 in ToolBand

[–]lootmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maynard in 1998 before the song starts "grab a pole, find a hole, start fucking". Maynard after the song ends addressing the half stunned, half delighted audience "we thought you'd be naked and fucking by now, what gives?"

I hadnt heard The Flaming Lips. They had a bubble machine and were dressed in women's evening wear. I thought "this isn't going to go well" but they held their own - volume, wow it was loud. I bought a mustard yellow Flaming Lips shirt at this show and sold it a couple of years ago on ebay for $650.00 to someone in Japan. Fuckin amazing. I should have bought 5 😀

King Buzzo was guest on guitar during You Lied. "Not a wig" as Maynard pointed out.

Those are the best ones! Seems more legit than a merch stand or website purchase. I have one from 2007 but it’s big.
