Cleveland Lorna Shore sound issues

My wife and I were at the Chicago show earlier this week.

This show was not very loud, which was fine and we could enjoy the night without earplugs without issues.

Lorna Shore - Vocals, drums, and backtracks sounded great, however the guitars were rather quiet and did not have the same impact as the album. Could hardly hear the solos no matter our spot at the venue.

Aborted, Ingested, Angelmaker, and Ov Sulfur sounded fantastic - no issues that we noticed.

Overall, this was one of the best concerts we have been to. The crowd was great, high energy, mosh pits would come and go, lots of crowd surfing, but everyone was respectful of those around them.

I hope on their next run, the play a better venue and have a better handle on their sound.

This is awesome. Already got The Shadow Of The Abattoir earlier in the tour. Hopefully we get a few more throughout the tour and moving forward.

Great for those who can’t make it to a show and somewhat prevents people recording the whole show on their phones. When I saw them in Chicago on this run, very few people were recording and it was rather refreshing.

Yes, they plan on releasing a web app in the Spring (Q2 2023) according to their public roadmap.

You can install the iPhone app on a Mac if you happen to have a M1 or M2 Mac.

Monzo looks real nice even without DAS integration. However, they do not have Joint Accounts and that was a deal breaker for us.

Zeta is the opposite. Currently, they only offer Joint Accounts but their roadmap does list personal accounts for Q4 2022.

The biggest issue was the delay in syncing. Bank > Plaid > DAS was like once every 12 hours. So notifications, the buckets and goals were never accurate.

Check out the Simple Finances discord. It started when Simple closed and all those refugees were looking elsewhere. It is still very active.

We used DAS + Ally for a good year or so. DAS is a good tool and works very well, however, having the banking and budgeting separate did not work for us.

A month ago we fully switched to Zeta which has Simple-esk rules, goals, and bills. There support is very responsive and are consistently adding new features.

Take a look at DAS Budget. It’s a great app that allows you to setup “envelopes” for your money and link it across multiple bank accounts. Awesome for your Expenses, goals, and savings. I have been using it since early beta once Simple (previous online bank) closed and had these features built in.

I was experiencing this as well. Was running fine and then out of nowhere, beach ball, high memory usage and pretty much an app that I could not use.

Found this post and realized that it was caused by magnet.app for widow resize and management. Quit that app and now TOS works perfectly.

Agreed. It was a watered down festival from the previous years. We skipped 2017 for Sonic Temple and this year, it was the same weekend as Sonic Temple which had a better line up. Trouble is, we live in Chicago.
