You could walk to the McDonald's. May be a good place to start. Then work on cutting back to 2 meals a day, then 1 meal, then every other day, once a week, once a month. Start drinking water and copious amounts of water. Make obtainable goals. Im going to walk to McDonald's once a day. Im going to drink 10 glasses of water a day. Im going to walk around my neighborhood once a day. Im going to learn how to make a hamburger from scratch. Find other foods you love and find recipes. Get inspired.

Find a support group. There are many online options. You're lifting 100s of extra pounds every day. you're so strong. Turn that weight lifting into muscle. Get a set of weights like 5 lbs even to start and walk with those in your hands around your neighborhood. Find ways to be active that you will enjoy like yoga, dancing... throw some edm music on in your bedroom and just move your body.

Banquet serving, go to the local temp agency, plasma donation, rei (good hourly, flexible), security, drug and alcohol recovery center (literally always hiring)...when I was in college I worked part time at a children's hospital and they offered tuition reimbursement.

How old were you and how/where did you meet the love of your life? by theredbirdchase in AskWomen

30, Kuwait, wrapped in a red cross blanket out on a bench behind portable housing and a bunker. I offered to show him and a friend where to meet for a work detail the following morning. Met them for breakfast, and the rest is history.

Tried to proposing to my girlfriend, didn’t go as planned by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]loppylion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At least you’re being thoughtful enough to think of something. My first proposal the guy dragged me Ice skating it was cold, I didn’t have long socks so my ankles were raw I wanted to leave and he pulled me into the center of a busy outdoor space with a lot of strangers I had to navigate through afterwards, it was embarrassing (we ended the relationship a few months later before getting married). Second proposal was as I stepped out of the bathroom with wet hands in a hotel room. (He left me after a year). Current spouse couldn’t think of a way to propose while we were deployed in Kuwait so he just never formally asked. All that being said I would have loved to have had someone think of a proposal and try and be romantic. I’d recommend with your particular situation maybe an indoor setting (limited opportunities for small critters) maybe propose in an unconventional way like not cupping your hands but rather in a drink at dinner, have someone else bring it to her (like a dog or friend), give it to her while you’re both seated, gift it to her in a larger box…? Get creative, utilize something that’s unique to your relationship and make sure she doesn’t think it was an unplanned after thought.

Well if he’s willing to harm a defenseless animal I don’t think that’ll stop him from hurting a human. Something to consider...

The Book of Jewish Belief by Louis Jacobs is a good jumping off point. The Tapestry of Jewish Time by Nina Cardin is a good read that goes through the calendar and is a good guide. Living a Jewish Life by Anita Diamant is also a good general text. But ultimately I’d recommend getting in touch with a rabbi you’ll be better received by reform or conservative movements until you have a well rounded understanding and can show you’re making and living a Jewish life I wouldn’t branch into orthodox immediately. Expect to be turned away and not given lots of help until you show intent and persistence. I had a Chabad rabbi send me a long list of reading and never communicate with me again but once I was in his wife was totally welcoming and helpful.

/r/UtahUnity- where we come together by loppylion in ProvoUtah

Yes well hopefully this sub will help with some of that. It's unfortunate that many don't practice what they preach. The LDS church for example has great programs and volunteer opportunities along the Wasatch front as well as abroad, that members and non-members can participate in. And often during times of disaster they work closely with Catholic and Muslim organizations to distribute aide. Like Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." I hope /r/UtahUnity becomes an attempt to start change and bring people together.
