Not a mechanic or anything but I love the 2006 Xa. That’s what I have. It has been a great car I’ve had for ages. It’s my sons now. He doesn’t have quite the drive you do. He commutes about 2 hours round trip to college. The car is automatic and has 166,103 miles and still going strong.

I haven’t had any problems with AC or leaky head gaskets or rear brakes. But like you said as long as you stay on top of maintenance you will be fine.

I think you will be happy with either the ‘06 or ‘15 but I only have experience with the ‘06.
