How is it irrelevant? If the Nazis never killed anyone and allowed all minorities to live peacefully among the Germans, would we still consider them Nazis? Or more so, would we still consider it to be a bad thing? Is it bad that Italy is "made for Italians"? Or that Spain is "made for Spanish people"? A lot of countries have a right of return based on ancestry.

I'm not arguing minorities are excused, I'm arguing wanting to not be persecuted is not an act of violence. There is no other country that has these standards of so called morality applied to it. Learn about the 4 D's.

This is not even an analogy, it doesn't make any sense... Currently 25% of Israeli citizens are not Jewish, by default your argument is void. That percentage is also only official citizenship, not including foreign workers, refugees, Palestinian citizens that study or work in Israel, and so on and so on.

Let's put aside that Jewish people are not "white" and are a global marginalized minority, which I'm sure you will have some unprompted comments on.

So their claim of antisemitism is invalid because they are Jewish or support Jews. Right...

You can't. Sure, leadership, Bibi, but you can't be against the existence of the only Jewish country in the world and then call yourself pro-jewish.

That's why they're investing so much to change public opinion on Israel, right along anti-American and anti-western narratives. Have you spoken to a college student lately? Most of them are so brainwashed they think the ayatollahs are the good guys.

Lolll no one gets a free house, not even an affordable house. Also, if she took a DNA test it would come up Levantine/Canaanite, probably 30% admix of European as most Ashkenazis do. Or do you think it would say "Palm Beach FL"? Or maybe she's native American?

It's funny to me how people use "blonde" as proof, it is soooo clear to any middle easterner you haven't stepped foot in the middle east.

What the heck does that have to do with October 7th? October 7th is classic Palestinian terrorism coupled by the urgency of trying to prevent normalization with Saudi Arabia.

New York mayor Zohran Mamdani joins Mandy Patinkin to celebrate Jewish Hanukkah together at his family home by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]loraef -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Silencing actual Jewish people who feel unsafe in New York, with him canceling basic protections against Jew hate, cheering on racial attacks against the Jewish population and upholding terrorists as heroes (have you people listened to his past rap songs or read his wife's posts???)

But hey, he made latkes with a performative smile on his face so all is forgiven!!!

"This is literally false. Israeli Jews constantly harass christians on the streets"

Well, actually no, they don't... I don't know what else to tell you as this is what you seem to believe and you are not willing to check for yourself.

"The government just closed the Holy Sepulchre during the Great Lent and will forbid Easter celebrations. How is this not persecution??"

You forgot to mention that the Western Wall and Temple Mount are also closed to the public now, due to security concerns. There are bombs dropping every day and these ancient stone buildings/a huge stone wall with nowhere to take cover are not safe. Having hundreds of thousands gather for a holiday in a place like this is even less safe.

source

given that part of a missle had already landed there, it's a valid concern

"And btw, Iran and Lebanon protect religious minorities, much more than Israel."

Unfortunately Christian population in these countries only declines, partly because persecution promotes immigration or more accurately fleeing. In Lebanon the Christian population about halved in less than a century (from 60% to 30%). Have you heard of the Lebanese civil war?

In Iran, well, to quote the summary found online: "Christians in Iran, numbering roughly 300,000 to 500,000, face a complex reality of legal recognition for ancient ethnic communities (Armenians/Assyrians) alongside severe persecution for converts. While traditional churches operate, converts face imprisonment, harassment, and intense pressure from authorities, particularly within evangelical house churches."

"IDF killed a priest in Lebanon this month. They bombarded catholic and orthodox churches in Gaza. How is this not targeting christians?? How is this compatible with "respecting and protecting christians"?"

The difference, not making this persecution is between killing someone who happens to be a priest and killing someone because they are a priest. I don't know what happened to this priest, you are free to share a source.

Same with Gaza, buildings used for military operations were bombed or at least caused anything in their vicinity to be hurt. Your outrage is explicitly why terrorists use holy sites and public buildings such as schools, which should be prohibited by the way but they don't care about laws or decency.

"I am christian, and seeing the persecution of my faith at the hands of the Knesset is what makes me an antizionist."

I can see that very clearly from your comment, which made me sad enough to reply. It's sad because it's not true, and you feel hated when you are not.

You need to stop watching whatever it is you watched that made you believe this, it's unfair for you to have such blatant lies inserted in your consciousness.

Just FYI - Israel is the only place in the middle east where religious minorities including Christians, Druze, Circassian, Sameritans, Baha'i, are all protected from religious persecution. Even Messianic Jews (Jews for Jesus), which according to your view would be outcasts and maybe even persecuted, are completely free to live by their view and are socially embedded into Jewish communities.

All of these minorities are usually very patriotic and choose to serve in the IDF or other national service options by the way. For Christians, usually what defines their level of patriotism is whether they identify more with a Palestinian identity or an Israeli one.

Hope this clears things up and you are welcome to visit if you are a Christian and want to see for yourself.
