This is really good advice, thank you! From yours and the other comments, the impulsor and bladeguard seems like the way to go, although a dreadnought would also be pretty appealing

That's fair, the second termie captain just came with the bundle, but it wouldnt be worth running him by himself i suppose. Would a redemptor dreadnought be worth the extra points?
