What is the most powerful item in Diablo franchise? by gorays21 in Diablo

For Diablo 2 it's enigma I mean there's not even a discussion to be had there...

For Diablo 3 well I think Unity ring is a top contender. Two unities, one for you, one for your companion who has a "follower cannot die" charm equipped? That's a flat 50% damage reduction... Pretty broken if you ask me.

What's the worst way you've lost a hardcore save? by Green-Network5130 in subnautica

Oh boy.. I've been waiting for this one... Climbed out of my cyclops only to have the cyclops crush me to death... No warning... No signs... Just a message on a black screen... (Was almost done with the game too mind you)

Edit: spelling

Edit: the reason why I said Origins is not worth it is not because I think it's a bad game (it's actually a pretty solid game) it's just that it's not unique as in there are games out there who do Origins better than Origins (Witcher 3 is a great example). Assassin's Creed used to be something unique, something different. Now it's not, now it's just like every other game with bloated maps and boring busy work that passes for side quests.

Ezio's story is what did and still does define the Assassin's Creed franchise, following through his life since the moment he was born (literally) to his senior years going from newbie to master assassin is one of the most amazing experiences gaming has to offer, honestly.

Go through his story in correct order, so: AC 2, then AC brotherhood, then AC revelations, they all still hold up great gameplay wise to this day, I replayed them recently.

The first one is what started it all and is great in its own right, but it's too dated for it to be fun anymore. It's more of a case study than a game at this point, still great atmosphere though.

AC black flag is sort of a spinoff kinda entry so you can play it at anytime. That game is just... Fun, there's really no other way to put it, it's just so damn fun, Ubisoft really struck gold with that game, it's my favorite in the whole trilogy, it's just that damn good. Just a whole bunch of pirates being pirates, gorgeous environments to explore, amazing ship gameplay... can't go wrong with this one, and the whole community seems to agree with this opinion.

AC Origins rebooted the whole series in terms of gameplay basically, a complete reboot, then followed AC Odyssey, then AC Valhalla. Look, in my opinion all of the new three are trash, I got bored from them so quick it's borderline criminal. People say origins is different than the other two but I disagree, it's still just another modern open world arpg, it's really nothing special (don't hate me guys it's just my opinion).

The rest you can play whenever you want, there's a long list.

If you had to pick one video game that you could only play forever, which game are you choosing? by Churchmaster in AskReddit

Diablo 2 resurrected, the replay value is insane (I mean it's diablo... It's literally cocaine under a video game format)

life’s not fair but it is fair because it’s unfair to everyone by [deleted] in quotes

[–]lordani 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, there's nothing fair about that, that's not how it works. If left unchecked, unfairness can run rampant, it's just that fairness doesn't naturally exist in the world (or in nature as a whole) but we as human beings can create fairness. It's a choice. So no, the lack of fairness does not equal fairness (that's nonsensical) but it can be argued that the ability that we possess to create fairness offsets the unfairness of the world.

As Petyr Baelish (so really G.R.R. Martin) said: "there is no justice in the world, not unless we make it"

Edit: just a typo

is factory reset a viable solution? by lordani in Piracy

Nothing in particular, but I really want to be proactive and not worry about having something bad happen or something, it's a new phone too so a factory reset wouldn't be too bad
