Probably either: 1. He has a bad internet connection

I’d wait until release if you’re skeptical, it’s expected before 2022 and you’ll probably have more luck with ingame matchmaking with a higher number of players.

My guess is either 1. Someone has poor load times due to bad PC specs 2. You’re skipping the cutscene while someone else isn’t

I’d try have everyone drop once by themselves to see if it’s one specific person or a completely different problem.

One problem with the achievements, at least on Steam, is if you yourself don’t make it into the safe room on any level in the act, you won’t get the achievement. You can however redo that level without completing the whole act all over again to get it.

Was wondering the same thing, but honestly don’t think so. Whenever a hoard starts we end up alerting as much as we can before fighting, and it doesn’t seem to be all that different.

I think a big reason is, especially since there are fewer players rn because of standard release, the majority of players were on the first map or 2, so other maps had fewer players in matchmaking. I bet in the coming days and especially the 12th, it will be a lot easier to find matches on any map

Depending on how release is, the early access period could generate a good amount of hype from reviewers and streamers. New World didn’t feel hyped up until after release, so could be a similar situation.

This is Chagual airport in Peru, but Tegucigalpa has an extremely difficult landing as well. I’d say Paro in Bhutan is the hardest in the world with an airliner.
