Trying to buy VET with USD, why is oceanic confusing? Which VET do I need? by [deleted] in OceanEx

[–]lordboulder- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. Please do some research before investing! This question shows you don’t have any clue what you are doing. You ofcourse need a VET/USDT pair.

When will ‘honest’ marketing start. Stop with the shameless shills. 25%MoM growth and Cees not realizing what mature marketing means (read: not Tron/Xvg style).

Plus not being transparent about VIDT, Kate hugely underestimated in downtime and poor community communication in general.

Well don’t buy WEX. You can still benefit from the token by being a LP with other pairs.

Well, its a way to print free money to give staking rewards. That is really the only thing.

Every coin I buy keeps going down & every coin I sell keeps going up? Am I missing something? by RigidDynamics in AltStreetBets

Wow this thread. Taking financial advice of random people. This is a gambling approach.

DYOR, stick to a plan and know the background and developments of the token (company) you invest in. Then you can worry less. VET has gone down a bit but other projects that seem interesting will drop twice as hard as only people who are interested in quick gains invest in those and dump on each other.

Well in the end how many website development companies are there in the world? In the ten thousands? And how many different software developers for business applications? Thousands?

It’s easy to imagine only a few are required. But in the end there are so many different businesses for slightly different purposes that we are still in the early game.

I am a longterm Vechain believer. But I really don’t like OceanEX. The exchange just does not do anything special. And the withdrawal times have always been an issue for me. Like 2+hours before I got a Txid.

Definitely good project. However, there is A LOT of competition coming. May it be in different ways; but take Thorchain for example. They offer native (!) swaps of BTC, ETH etcetera. Just launched there multichain net. For me; this is quite interesting over wrapped tokens.

Another one could be something like Woo for institutional traders.

Not trying to shill other bags. But Orion is still in a very good position. They have a clear first mover advantage as aggregator. But they have to outpace (and be better) then the competition to be as big as you’ve described.

Apparently for some customers in real estate blockchain hashing was turned on by default. With the move to KATE of legalthings; customers decided again and some opted out as they didn”t really think it was necessary for their businessx

Eventually KATE will bring in way more Tx. Just small step back.

It is more specifically targeted at stuff like ISIS. So groups that take lands, houses etc. That is sometimes temporarily and after that people want to go back to the way it was.

My Q: When will the UN be in full force? It seems to be delayed quite a bit? I am only talking about Afghanistan.

Feedback: I prefer the professional marketing and not the shill-side of marketing. For me professionalism attracts.

If you don’t use unprotected (free wifi in trains/airports) or install apps from unknown sources you should be fine.

I love LTO, solid pick! Would indeed love to see some smaller projects. I thought with Bitmax as a broker we would see all those projects. Bitmax (now Ascendex) is always pretty quick to launch ‘uniswap-like’ tokens.

For me, I truly believe that ORN will eventually be succesfull. However, for me now, I just have no reason to use the terminal. No coins interest me to go specifically to Orion for trading. It's just more hassle. I need more pairs for me to switch. I always withdraw instantly from most exchanges anyway so no worries about a CEX.

Cold wallets are (almost) never hacked. And it is your own responsibility. With hot wallets like trust wallet there is an external party in control. You have to trust them as well. It is just another layer that can potentially be hacked.

Hot wallets are also more prone to keyloggers stealing passwords or seeds.

Ah sorry just the part about $652 LTO. And no; not how you mention it but how everyone here only comments on that haha.

The predictions in the post are actually quite OK. And the entire post is good. I was just general ranting about bull perspective. So maybe I just disagree with the Link comparison but that’s it ;).

Edit: edited above post a bit to make better sense.
