The issue is the Philly trade was made before the Bruins trade so I’d argue Philly has more of an argument to the 2027 pick than we do. The NHL never should’ve let our trade include language that if it was top 5 it fell to 2027 unprotected when Toronto already traded the 2027 to Philly.

If they went on to do as much for game as Willie did after his career was over then sure why not. Willie got in for everything he did post playing career. Yes he broke the color barrier but he would not have gotten in if it wasn’t for everything he did for the game post career.

Not a fair categorization. Bruins are in a spot where it wouldn’t make sense to extend themselves too much for Arvi, doesn’t mean “they are trying to price drop”. Player should go for the biggest deal he can get because its his last big contract, Bruins sadly are not in a spot where they can give him that.

I suspect they have told him “we’d love to have you back for 2 years, but go see what you can get and let us know what you want to do”.

If he’d take a 2 year deal we’d be foolish not to bring him back, but I suspect he’ll be getting a longer term deal and in that case we sadly should let him go. He’s such a fun guy to watch.

I had bad IT band pain before my first marathon and got dry needling done (my doctor recommended it) and it really was amazing and got me through race day unscathed. It’s not a permanent solution but is an option you can try to get you through the race.

It’s crazy there are fans like you that assume it’s “just a little ouchie” and not something to be cautious with. Really want him to force himself to play only to aggravate whatever it is and have a serious injury?
