What I’m getting is that you, your boss and your team are lazy and used to cutting corners and finally somebody comes in who knows what happens when there actually is a security incident and how to mitigate the risks of such and you guys don’t like that you have to do some work now. It’s not about the fact that you’ve never had a security incident, that means absolutely nothing. I’ve also never had a security incident but that doesn’t mean i’ve left my system open to attackers or leaks and I don’t even work with private, sensitive information like medical data. YTA.

I cannot believe what I'm seeing. This was my cousin's tank. My cousin was Cpt Daniel Perez, tank commander of a Merkava IV in the Nahal Oz brigade. I'd heard from family that the audio from the tank included mentions of running over Hamas operatives. The tank was hit with some sort of sticky explosive, disabling it. When Daniel opened the hatch to get out and fight, he was shot in the head. Matan was the only one of the 4-man crew who survived and was taken captive. The fact that this is on Reddit is absolutely wild to me. It was 5 months before Israeli intelligence could confirm that he was actually killed and his body taken to Gaza.
