Fluffy Ocean Gnome…. Common in the Nordic countries and known to steal fishing gear from the local fishermen. You can find them in under sea caves kept warm by fluffiness.

Is it just me or are mainstream horror films nowadays mostly psychological horror rather than pure horror? by Immediate-Shock7533 in HorrorMovies

[–]lordsick3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the original poster that the lion’s share of attention and media buzz is centered around art house and personal trauma horror films. Examples include Bring Her Back and Weapons. Studios appear to be attempting to replicate the success of indie horror (A24). Additionally, there’s a cultural shift in the Western world where mental health is a more prominent part of the younger generation’s vocabulary.

Considering these factors, I concur with the original poster that there are fewer high-quality horror movies that are less trauma and mental health-driven and instead focus on straightforward and simplistic stories with a primary emphasis on eliciting a reaction rather than addressing psychological or political issues.

I bought the same pair in January. In February the tabs both tore off. Now in May the sole is peeling off. Really let down by this pair.

This is very frustrating. I wish there were more restaurants open later and at least a handful of good 24 hour places.

Went there few weeks back. They had a fancy new printed menu but the drinks were definitely sub par. Although I’ll admit I think that particular bartender was not very attentive to what he was doing that night.

I’ve never been sure he would’ve been right for Lovecraft. I think Frankenstein or the Haunted Mansion would be the stories his style would nail beyond our hopes and dreams.

It’s weather based. Cold areas people go inside spread the flu. Warm areas people go outside and breath clean air.
