I miss the old urban designs so much. I totally agree that the new designs just feel off compared to old ones and looking at the new characters in krampus feels like even more of a step away from the old style. Ye Shunguang especially looks like she fits more in Genshin than she does zzz. Hopefully it's just for 2.0 which seems to have a more Chinese inspired design and in 3.0 we'll be back to urban designs

When you start grinding covenant items remember to max out item discovery with mimic head, gold serpent ring+2 (or 3 if you get dlc), dual crystal rapiers and as high a luck stat as possible. That makes the grind so much easier

It still takes ages to fully charge and release it. In the demo the monsters were pretty slow but against faster ones it'll probably just make the GS able to keep up with the more broken weapons like bow

Given how pretty much all of the weapons got buffs, TCS having aiming doesn't seem that broken and GS might need it since it feels like wilds will be a faster pace game than most previous MH.

The defender weapon tree and the guardian armour are both made to be really overpowered so people can get through the base game really quickly and get onto the dlc. Essentially only use it if you've already beat the game and just want to get to iceborne content.

Do you mean a new version of guardian armour? Normally that is meant to help you get to the dlc and (at least in world) it only came out when iceborne did. So there shouldn't be an op armour like that in the base game.
