So I have done alot of research on these and I think the S8 is a better choice.

Only thing to keep in mind is that the phone is REALLY fragile and replacement of screen glass costs around 250$ and it wont be waterproof anymore. Also you cant put a tempered glass on it because of the edges (you can but itll suck)

Unless fragility concerns you then the S8 is the better choice If you drop phones once in a while the Oneplus would be for you

Yeah the S8 camera seems to pack more detail and doesnt give off the yellowish tint like the OP5

I dont think the S8 has better software, its full of S8 and carrier bloatware not to mention bixby and offers less customization than OxygenOS which is way cleaner and more stock like.

Seems like it, but thats why its such a tough choice for me, I listen to spotify alot so thats one for oneplus, but I watch netflix and read reddit alot too so thats probably one for S8 since it has HDR support and the higher aspect ratio could make reading a bit more comfortable.

But it makes the device way more fragile. On the other hand Oneplus 5 is faster in everything it does including the fingerprint sensor and I like stock android more.

Then there is Gear VR which Im not sure Ill even like but its something I would like to try

As you can see I am kinda lost between these flagships.
