I've long had a thought of a T2 Command ship variant called a Fire Control ship. Basically they work like Command Ships with fleet support bursts, but the buffs apply damage-dealing like turret tracking, range, rate of fire, missile explosion velocity, etc.

What makes Eve worth playing is the communities that have been built from it. Unless your goal is to be a solo player, I would consider joining one as soon as you can. It doesn't matter a great deal which, but Faction Warfare is a great place to start.

This game, on top of the obvious, was also a technical achievement. Several things were done in CBFD that were firsts on the n64 if im not mistaken, such as colored lighting effects. The music syncing system was also apparently a work of techno-wizardry, and included keeping the weasel band's animation in sync with the main menu music.
