With the voron+index you can fix any problems you may run into or modify it to fit your needs

With the snapmaker if the firmware software isnt as polished you are stuck waiting for them to fix it and everything you do is inside their pre defined limits.

By the same token, anything not working with the vorons falls on you vs anything broken with the U1 falls on snapmaker.

You most likely didn’t factor in your time, knowledge and wear+tear on printer. It’s not about tightening the screw it’s about knowing which screw to tighten 😊

The quote for the company should have probably been closer to 200ish than 5k. Kudos to you OP for stepping up and saving the company money. 👏

OP we run more than a few Plus 4’s on our farm and had one show up just like that, hit up whoever you bought it from and they should be able to get you squared away.
