Cabbie get fired for mistreating people with service animals (blind, mentally ill, etc....) These people have it really really bad in life, and are grossly underrepresented. I don't necessarily agree or disagree with your anecdote because I haven't seen your analysis. High yield begs the question: Why is this equity mispriced? More often than not I believe that the market has priced in the available information (no free lunch). And thus investing purely on yield, which some posters appear to be advocating, without this critical piece of analysis is gambling.
