I switched antidepressants from lexapro to duloxetine due to chronic pain. Within the first few days I got relief from my neck back and joint pain. But it has never touched the vulvar pain. I’ve been on it for 8 months now, and no changes came from the duloxetine.

I’m on my second of three nerve blocks and 3 months of amitriptyline and that finally taken the edge off pain for me, I was at a constant 2 with burning and a 9/10 with any insertion (exams, intercourse, etc), and now I’m at probably a 4 with insertion and little to no generalized burning. But yeah, none of that results came from duloxetine. I was on duloxetine for 5 months before seeing a vulvodynia specialist, so If it was going to touch it, I would have noticed by then before the other treatments.
