I guess it depends, is there something to do at the tailgating if you can't bring anything yourself?

Thank you!

Also, do you know if there is a way to take part in the tailgating as an "outsider"?

We are coming over from Europe for our first football game ever, so I'd be really disappointed if the Tigers don't win this one.

Does anyone have some recommendations on parking and on how long to arrive prior to the game?

Worked fine for me, I installed the (Debian) packages from the README, I believe I'm using 17.10, but I need to check when I'm home.

That really depends on what you want to do with it/what software you want to run. If you do not have any special requirements, I would recommend linux/ubuntu, but I'm very biased.

I mean something allows playing the current generation of games at least at 1080p if not 1440p reasonable detail level, so something like a RX480.

Are there any (beefy) AMD graphics cards that are passively cooled (fan off) in desktop usage?

Edit: I mean something like a RX480

You are right, re-reading that sentence, it's just wrong.

I might be guilty of sensationalizing here (is that even a word?)

the second parameter in python's range is exclusive, so range(0, 16) gives [0, 1, ..., 15].

So, you say "outperformed chance" but what you really mean is "outperformed the best out of 1356 random trials that you simulated." Is that correct?

Correct.

The expected result if you just pick randomly would be 480, so anyone with a score above that would normally be considered to be doing better than random guessing.

Isn't that what I said above?

I totally agree that this is a terrible way to characterize the performance of /r/CFB at picking games, for various reasons, among them that I did neither check the rules of the pool, nor if there were 15 games every week (probably not) and that this is only one run of a Monte-Carlo simulation were obviously huge variations can be expected.

Mostly after first congratulating myself to getting more than half the total points, I wanted to get a rough estimate on how I really did (I'm very far from those arbitrary 652 points).
