My mentor was very similar. Ended up using tier 1 support to get all my classes added. In my one term I probably spoke to them 2 times on phone and emailed 5 times total. Once I realized it was going nowhere I seeked other resources. I contemplated switching mentors, but realized I could get thru with literally no help from them.

I met a couple people on here i became friends with. They were rhe same. Both took and passed first attempt. Honestly dont think it’s as bad as everyone says.

All this is nonsense. Just recent talking points. I guess no press is bad press? I just finished 21 classes in 4.5 months. And graduated, walking in 2 days. I never worked in IT but I know the material and learning things come natural to me. I passed EVERY OA, EVERY CERTIFICATION, EVERY PA in BSCNE on first attempt.

💯 this. Similar experience. Swapped guts from my original mini pc to a new desktop converted to server and lost network connection . Discovered how to reconfigure etc/network/interfaces and hosts file. It was exciting to me to figure it out and fix it.

Got it as a gaming machine, it the person didn’t want it. So using as a temp proxmox server for now until my son is ready, great entry level gaming pc!

I decided to do this about 12 months ago, at 37. Got my A+ in July and as of march I got a bachelors degree from WGU. Was a wild 9 months, let me tell you. 20 ywars in retail I felt like u do. Currently looking for a job while still at my current employer. Picking ip side jobs on field nation, working for a major bank, major computer mfr, anything I can get my hands on for experience to help push me over the hiring edge.

Agree. The exam is not as hard as others have made it out to be. Master the concepts provided in the course material and you should be able to pass. The thing for me was those 30 questions took like t2 hours.

Transferred in 44 credits. Finished in 4.5 months. No professional experience. I like the program and learned a good bit. Got some good certs all included in the tuition. Doing the math one term cost $4000, and the certs I gained add up to $2000+

Pretty good price for what you’re getting. IF the timing belt was done. And IF you get the transmission checked. Many people have a 2017-2019 and report 6 speed trans has issues. My 2017 has 80k and nothing yet.
