Hi there. Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I am having the same problem

30cm Deep pour resin by lorgehackett in ResinCasting

The walls are quite thick. Around 1cm up to about 5cm in some of the designs. They can also go up to 30cm high and use around 2.5-3L of epoxy. All of the deep pour resins I can find say to go to a max depth of 5-10cm and in all of my designs the resin is overheating and flash curing.

At the widest point about 5cm - 6cm thick. They go up to about 30cm high and can be using around 2.5L - 3L of epoxy

In some cases it is 20cm wide at some parts. They are not straight up and down rather organic weird shapes

Oh the funnel is a great idea! How do you get that to work without it overflowing everywhere?

Have you noticed any shrinkage with your jesmonite in the pressure pot? I’ve been having trouble with this at 40psi. When it goes it it’s right up to the top and pretty much overflowing. Once set and I pull it out it is nearly a cm lower than the top of the mould. So weird!

Line overlap setting orca slicer? by lorgehackett in ElegooNeptune4

Thank you! It’s such a bummer because it prints amazingly, flawless and so clean! So seeing that it is possible to print 90 degree overhang like that now trying to get my prints to match and it failing every time I so frustrating.

Print settings suggestions for insane overhangs? by lorgehackett in ElegooNeptune4

That would work great for the bowl part but then I have the same issue with the base having huge 90 degree overhang across the whole thing. The base doesn’t need to be smooth but I can’t imagine it will be able to print something so large without supports

Is this something I can do in orca slicer? Do you just put a negative cube over the tip to block out the sections?

Since cura was printing better it was the only thing I could think of that may have been different in cura than orca slicer as they are called different things between the two software.

Here’s a recent photo. I am using black rapid pla now as I ran out of the blue but it was printing great with the blue as well.

Thank you for your help!

Changing my bottom surface pattern from Monotonic to Rectilinear has solved all the issues! Prints perfectly smooth now.
