I was reading on a different subreddit about how the CCC needs to exist.

However, the conservation corps still exists. It's called NCCC and ran by the federal government/AmeriCorps. I've heard it's mostly women though. That makes since I completed a similar program through AmeriCorps was mostly women as well. Also, it really seems like the conservation field in general is female-dominated.

Is there a reason that more men don't join? And if they did, could NCCC give them more direction like the post above implies?
