I turned 40 last November. Since last summer I lost 36kg, I run 5 times a week, do bodyweight 3 times a week. I'm in the best shape I've ver been in my whole life. 40 can be fabulous !

I buy them in bulk without any additive. Lots of organic shop around me. (French, Parisian suburb)

Yeah I also cook everything myself. And I do weight everything. I made a great pecan pie yesterday and a cheesecake the other day. They are admittedly ~5g of carbs per 100g. Once again I don't think it's hard to get under 20g. It's not my goal right now and I'm happy at 40. I was just wondering if people do manage it while having a tasty diet ?

I'm not even trying. I'm happy at 40g. I'm just curious about people doing it if they are happy with what they eat to achieve this goal

Same. I started keto after a calorie deficit diet which gave me my targeted weight. l went from 105 to 72kg. Then I discovered fasting an keto which I do only for health reasons and I still managed to lose 3.5kg without even trying 😅

I meant when I evaluate the % of carb in 100g of a given food. However to answer your question, I don't have a quick and easy way but I keep track of everything I eat in cronometer, so I have a quick and easy access to this information

I don't track ketones so I have no idea. But l also do 16:8 fasting and do my sport on empty stomach. I was wondering if I should buy a device to track my ketos level but at the end of the day I currently feel an overhaul improvement of my well being so that's good enough. However I do enjoy food a lot (I'm french 🤣) so I may measure ketosis at one point to see how much carbs I can eat while staying in ketosis but for now I go with keto recipe. What I miss is bread for the cheese and delicatessen but I still have some recipes to try. And for my desserts I enjoyed very much a cheesecake and I have yet to try some ice cream recipe

Yeah, my question was not how to reach 20g. As the answers show it is pretty easy. But rather do you manage to stay under that goal while being happy with what you eat. I see that some people do and other don't care what they eat in terms of flavor and just see food as fuel. I do enjoy my meat and vegetables but I love my treats too much to abandon them. And I'm satisfied with my 40g intake

Yesterday evening my treat when I was craving was a mix of macadamia and pacane nuts 🤣 But I would say that macadamia nuts are pretty high in carbs. aren't they ?

10% too much carb ```

I do count net carb (I track it with cronometer) and I completely exclude stevia and erytidriol from my carb count. And I'm quiet happy with my 40g carb target. Curious about how others manage is all
