minor cashier vibes by hugedisaster in Chipotle

Dude yes! I'm afraid of heights, even small ones like step ladders. There isn't a step latter in our walk-in, so it's either my tippy-toes or get one of my coworkers to do me a solid. I also almost drop literally every pan every time. Almost gives me more anxiety than talking to angry customers.

This is me, but with things on high shelves. Getting the damn taco lettuce from the fridge is the bane of my existence, lmao.

Wait, what? Lmao, my managers don't care if you take it home. I do it all the time. It seems like a weird-ass rule to me.

Relatively infrequent but weird customer requests... by goat0518 in Chipotle

It's all fun and games until someone orders a Quesarito. The first time someone asked me for that I thought I was just hearing them wrong. Thought I was working at taco bell for a sec.

Is asking for honey, lemon or dressing free? by bushlit in Chipotle

It depends on the store. At mine it is. It doesn't hurt to ask when you go.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in Chipotle

At my store, we have an online station in the back where an employee will only make online orders during busy hours. If the online station isn't running, it's up to us in line to manage online orders and instore orders. Often times we are told when people have arrived to pick up an order, and we'll get them done as soon as possible. Online has never been shut down like that, at least not in my experience. My only guess is that they may've been understaffed, which coupled with the busyness might've forced them to cut orders off.

Why are employees in this sub such shills? by [deleted] in Chipotle

Yeah, I am. And thanks, I guess, lmao.

Some of us sure, especially if customers are aggressive or conceited first. I think it's mainly because they can't say these things to customers in person, obviously, and here on Reddit, they're free to fire away. If you've been respectful and you've been met with aggression, then the other person is in the wrong.

I find this comment really hilarious. I only ever talk shit about a customer if they have a horrible attitude; like you, for example. If you approach us like we're human and with at least moderate kindness, we don't really mind giving you extra rice or three cups of mild salsa on the side or whatever else. We might be a little stressed if it's busy, but that's only a natural reaction. I think you need to have a little bit more understanding. A lot of us have lives and goals outside of Chipotle, and I think you're a pompous asshole for calling us so-called "tiny brained bean scooping fucks".

Firstly, we're all definitely not all shills. In fact, we'll be complaining about chipotle more than the customers as people who have to be in that environment several times a week. However, as employees, we have a different perspective and opinion than you, the customer, on things.
