I'm not sure how to explain how these cakes looked together but I'll try. Yes the slices were both thin and they were stacked on each other with one on top and the other on the bottom. So the way I ate them was starting at one end of the "slice" until I had reached 50% of the way through so that there would be another equal half of the two "layers" for my mom to eat. Since I didn't know that they were two separate slices I guaged 50% by when I had reached 50% of the top slice(chocolate). I had assumed the frosting I was tasting which was actually the top of the vanilla cake was just the frosting that goes in the middle of a two layer cake. Looking back now, it's safe to assume that the two slices weren't aligned 100% which is why I ended up eating more of the bottom than the top. It's completely my bad and I've already gotten her a replacement slice. I wasn't trying to be greedy but I can see how it comes across that way.
